I have noticed that when i had the golden chalice and or the gem studded silver one my mana that i gain drops by 1000, no upkeep or anything. just stopped making 1000 mana, and got it back as soon as i sold it... dunno if there are any positive effects.

I (Eradication mage) got a Gemstudded silver chalice (Phantasm) and my mana income went from 2060 to 1560 (-500). Maybe they changed it? - Solo server, 25-4-2009

I've popped about 10 BSM's, and got a Grail 30% of the time, or 3 times out of 10. Is it really only 20% chance (1/5). Sample size too small, 10 is nowhere near enough to test with Zliplus
