The Shaman is a mage who has long found that the serenity of the forest is superior to the chaos of 'civilization'. As such, she understands plant life. Some have spent so much time with treefolk that they developed plantlike features and can command them to do their bidding. The most ancient Shamans can drain magic power from Nature.

Increases Primary and Counter AP of all your Treefolk Units by 5%*lvl. This bonus adds linearly to the effects of Plant Growth. E.G. If plantgrowth adds +200% AP to your Treefolk, level 1 Plant Control will add +205% in total.

The main reason non-greens buy this hero is to increase their kingdom mana income, but take into account the Shaman own mana upkeep. A level 17 Shaman would increase mana income by 4% but require 420 mana.  In order to have a net mana income after hero upkeep, your kingdom needs a minimum of 10500 income (10500 * 0.04 = 420). Take into account the gold upkeep as well.

Reduces initiative of one random enemy stack by 1. Deals 4k + 2k*lvl POISON damage to the affected stack. Is a Verdant spell thus can be resisted, however verdant spell resistance is fairly rare. Seems to be weighted to target larger stacks in preference to smaller ones.

Generally bought either to increase efficiency of trees and/or increase MP income. Commands a high price on the market.
