*As a white mage with increased SL i have casted this over 10 times on a target with no bars and 35 items. It never stole anything => it must be oncolor only now... great...

I understand it destroys up to 5 artifacts (average 2.5?), as opposed to stealing only 1, but the shorter cast time, and the ability to then sell/use those artifacts for your own, makes this spell worthwhile in some circumstances. For comparison, over 6 turns, you would be able to destroy an average of 5 artifacts, or steal 3 - but then be able to use/sell those 3.

Notes

Casting Destroy Artifacts is usually a better option, especially as an Ascendant mage.

Edit - ?? "Spell: Destroy Artifacts | Cast MP: 30,000 | Turns: 3" I understand it destroys up to 5 artifacts (average 2.5?), as opposed to stealing only 1, but the shorter cast time, and the ability to then sell/use those artifacts for your own, makes this spell worthwhile in some circumstances. For comparison, over 6 turns, you would be able to destroy an average of 5 artifacts, or steal 3 - but then be able to use/sell those 3.
