Get down to the list quick!


There is at max one of each Unique Item at any time in the game, and your guilds do not produce them. They are released through Treasure Map and Treasure Chest (shortly into a game round, none of them are present) and once in the game, can be sold, stolen, lost, used - but they cannot be pillaged. When no-one owns the item, it has a chance to get back in the game through Treasure Map, Treasure Chest and Black Market again.

  • Exceptions:
    • Holy Grail (there are five that are constantly swapping between owners)
    • a Unique that is on the Black Market is not in the game, if you get a unique while that one is also for sale... you'll lose it soon as the selling one gets into the game. This makes Efreeti Bottle and Holy Grails stay in your possesion for a brief time only.
    • Minor Indulgence (unlimited) actually is generated by guilds and not a real unique at all.
    • Rumours of heroes duplicating Uniques are from the Archmage buggy past.

Unique Items


Altar of Blood

Increases mana production by 5,000 mp Upkeep: 5,000 pop. Both upkeeps do not show on status report.

Ancient Staff of Pure Quartz

Reduces cost by 25% and increases AP, counter AP and summoning by 5%.

Ancient Tome

Instantly finishes researching current spell (even Armageddon!)

Apparatus

Summons 100 Hellhounds, 100 Salamanders, 50 Hydra or 50 Chimera per turn.

Archmage Strategic Guide

Reduces casting cost by 10% and reduces chance of casting failure.

Atomic Bomb

Destroys 25% of target's mana, buildings forts, land (permanently), units, geld and population. Can completely annihilate someone below ~2.8k land and 20 forts. ((think buildings is 25% but units is 33%))

Basin of Far Seeing

Gives information about a country like Scrying Mirror spell. OR Grants owner unlimited scrying.

Black Ankh

Raises HOLY attack resistance by 50%. Raises ascendant magic resistance by 50%. Raise undead HP by 10%

Blood Knife Stops resurrecting ________ poor description ___
Blue Ice

Reduces all units Attack Power by 30%, yours and your opponents, except for all units (both yours and your opponents) having ICE attack, which is increased by 50%.

Book of Geology Chance to learn Earthquake ancient spell, for eradication mage, and perhaps for spell-whored black or green mage too. Also chance to lose mana if it fails.
Burning Incense

Reduces spell casting failure. Reduces spell casting cost by 10%

Chaos Ward

Reduces damage from Eradication spells, but does not block them.

Crimson Banner

Increases Units' Attack Power. (Same effect as Bloodlust)

Crystal of Tear

Increases Mana production by 5,000 OR Has the same effect on enemy army in battle as the Figurine of the Ice Queen.

Dead Sea Scroll

There is a minute chance of learning Heavenly Protection, if used by a white mage, others lose all of their mana.

Dragon Slayer

Increases Attack Power by 10%. Gives high efficiency vs dragons.

Efreeti Bottle

Gives either 2 heroes, 2 million mana, 200 million geld or 30 items#Lesser Items. Use this (or sell it) fast because there can only be one in the game at the same time, and everytime some mage casts Wish it may shift ownership.

Egg of Time

Egg of Time gives 1-100 turns (or is it: 25 to 50 turns??). Don't use when you allready have max turns or you won't get them.

Excalibur

Increases units' attack power by 15%.

Hand of Negation

Dispels target's enchantments regardless of barriers. Asume this item is a charged item meaning you can't use it again for 200 turns after using it.
It CAN be blocked... a week ago I lost the Hand of Negation when it fizzled after use on a blue mage with Black Death. This is what is probably the fact. The Hand of Negation can be blocked ONLY by SPELL LEVEL DIFFERENCE (this mage had 0 barriers!!). chance to be blocked: (targets SL - your SL) / 10 %

Hell Fire

Gives you resistance to fire, increases FIRE Attack power, but adds weakness to cold. OR Doubles the Primary Attack of units which deal fire damage with any attack; Hidden upkeep: reduces mana generation by 5%.

Helm of ESP

Believed to increase PSYCHIC attacks by 50%

Holy Grail

(there are five different ones in the game - 5 unique holy grails.)The dull copper Holy Grail is the real one. It will resurrect 15% of dead units. Hidden Upkeep: Lowers mana production by 10%. Notes:

The Iron Golem

User gains 3 acres of farm per turn Upkeep: mana upkeep increases as User's land increases. Don't confuse with Iron Golem, the plain unit

Lipstick of Enslavement

Allows you to steal an opponents male hero

Love Potion #9

Grants 2 random female heroes.

Lucky Charm

You will gain 10% resistance to each color and increased chance of casting success, item generation, and accuracy.

Minor Indulgence

(Not really a unique item - many of them in the game!) It has a chance to remove all "dispellable" enchantments cast upon you, offensive and defensive, including Fury of God cast by a hatred god.

Nether ParchmentEither grants the user the spell Corruption or drains all their MP.
Orb of ProtectionCovers your country in a forcefield that blocks out all spells and attacks. Effectively gives Council Protection for a period of 24 hours (doesn't work on Arma).
Pan's FluteDecreases enemies initiative by 10%.
Pouch of Infinite WealthGives 500,000 extra geld per turn.
ProtectorAdds 100% resistance against breath attack type to your units.
Ring of AmethystReduces research turns in half.
Ring of Djinni SummoningCast Wish 6 times on the user.
Sceptre of RulershipIncreases your units HP by 10% (believed to work in 30% of the battles).
Scroll of CancellationEither grants the user the spell Cancelation or drains all their MP.
Scroll of InsightEither grants the user the spell Wall of Silence or drains all their MP.
Skull RingDecreases non-undead units' HP by 25%, decreases undead units' HP by 5%, 1% pop upkeep and increases MP income by 20%.
Soul EaterIncreases HP by 20% and AP by 40% for all demons on each side while decreasing MP income by 10%..
Spectacles of True SeeingAllows the owner to gain 75% resistance to Phantasm magic.
St. Nara's Lock of HairBestows Holy Word and Protection from Undead on wielder (10% resistance to all colors).
Staff of the ArchmageInflicts (randomly) LIGHTNING, COLD, FIRE or PSYCHIC damage in battle.
The Magic MirrorSummons two female heroines with an upkeep of 5,000 m.p./turn for the mirror...use it fast. The Magic Mirror only gave one female hero and had no upkeep this reset when I used it.
The Mirror of the Grey WitchReflects 33% of spells cast on you back to the caster. Believed to force the enemies top stack to attack it's own army 1/3 of the time. Hidden upkeep: decreases mana income by 5k MP per turn.
The SinnerIncreases resistance to magic while lessening your ability to use it. It acts like Confuse over your country (believe to also increase the chance of your enemies spells failing).
Thor's HammerReduces target armys'AP and counter AP by 25% as well as HP by 5%.
Thunder BladeAdds LIGHTNING to your units attacks (adding 50% more to Air Elem) while adding/increasing lightning resistance (only increases AP of units with lightning attack type).
Wand of the Moon

Inflicts (randomly) LIGHTNING, COLD, FIRE or PSYCHIC damage in battle.

Wings of Glory

Increases the AP of Angels by 15% (white mages) and 10% for non-white mages.

World Peace

Gain 40% more geld per turn and reduces AP of you and your enemy by 5%.
