*Building rate is increased by 6% + 3% per skill level

 

Added 11/27/23:  Formula as follows

Farms:  y = 1.zz*(x+1)/5 where y is the target number of farms to build per turn and zz is the percent gain based on the engineers ability and x is the number of workshops built.

So if the target is 100 farms per turn and the engineer is lvl 17, then the engineer benefit is 33% (6+3*9) and the formula is as follows:

100 = 1.33*(x+1)/5...      75.19 = (x+1)/5.....     375.94 = x+ 1.....  x = 374.94....   build 375 workshops to make 100 farms per turn

Solo notes, May 2023 (Mav):

*CoS will remain in effect until you population crash (reach less than 6,666 pop and take a turn)
*Devils will be a stack in your army, not a reinforcement
*For defense and counters you will receive 1 devil per 1 SL (SL of 500 = 500 devils)
**This is likely to be your top stack as a result
*For a non-counter attack, you will receive 1/10th of your SL in devils (SL of 500 = 50 devils)
*You will not receive a devil prince as  "hero" preventing you from pillaging or reducing your mana income
