The Fire Elementalist has mediocre HP and attack; however, its spells is where it really shines. [[Arcfire]] will heavily damage one random enemy stack, while at high levels of experience, [[Firestorm]] deals modest damage to ALL enemy stacks. At a high level, a Fire Elementalist can take away four or five ultimates with [[Firestorm]], and if [[Arcfire]] happens to hit the stack of ultimates, even more. This makes the task of whittling away 10% of your enemy's power considerably easier. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ultimate units typically have high resistance against specialities. Therefore, the Fire Elementalist's chances of hurting ultimates with [[Arcfire]] or [[Firestorm]] are low. Fodder stacks are decently cleaned by Firestorm. Average and Complex units also take a fair amount of casualties. Units with a [[Weaken Resistance to|Weakness]] to [[FIRE]], such as {{blue}} [[Ice Elemental]] and several {{green}} [[:category:Verdant Units|Verdancy units]] suffer the most from Fire Elementalist.&lt;br /&gt;

As another point, units in general that have pre-attack spells, such as Fire Elementalist, are very valuable as their damage is only reduced by elemental resistance. 80K damage might seem small compared to a stack of complex units, but remember that stack has to face Accuracy (30% for regular 20% for siege), Efficiency, Random modifier (25%-75%) and then the enemy's resist to that damage type.&lt;br /&gt;

Dread Knight is a demon, Nether hero with a cold attack and a very high upkeep.  Not only does he have one of the highest geld upkeeps of any hero, but he also costs mana and population (though not much of either).  Still, he is a very popular hero in TR because of his [[Terror]] ability, which is one of the few ways to reduce accuracy in battle. High level Dread Knights go for a very large amount on the market.&lt;br /&gt;

Outcast dwarves that seek death in battle to regain their honor, Berserkers are a force to be feared. With no regard for their own safety, they charge recklessly into battle, and inspire their allies to do the same. One can always find a Berserker by following the trail of bodies to the most vicious fighting on the field.&lt;br /&gt;

On the face of things, the Berserker has a lot going for him, but he's not always right for every color.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

The Berserker has a standard Melee attack and doesn't cost too much. The question of his value comes in with his Berserk ability at lvl 14.  At its first lvl you will see your PRIMARY and counter abilities go up by 15%, but your health reduced by 6%.  As is often the case with TR heroes, this might help its native color, red, the least.  Red has very powerful secondary attacks in Chimeras and in Red Dragons (not so potent, but they will almost certainly be present and represent a lot of net power).  The only eradication units that see good benefits out of the Berserk ability are salamanders and to a lesser extent hydras. &lt;br /&gt;
*This may not be the case on Beta server, where we have seen so many of the things that boost Primary and Counter only on other servers receive the inclusion of Secondary attacks on Beta. A simple test in one battle with a berserker running will serve to answer this question.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Add in to this the fact that Red will often be running Battle Chant, which is going to reduce the health of its units by 10% already (for a bonus of 30% to AP/counter).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
At high levels, the health reduction increases.  A 17th lvl Berserker will offer +11% primary/counter from Valor and +30% primary/counter from Berserk, for a total of +41%!  The downside is you'll also be at negative 15% health.  If you were running Battle Chant, that would be an incredible +71% Primary and -25% health.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It's a tricky situation.  If enemy damaging items/spells get in, -25% health can really hurt.  Especially for simple/fodder units.  But it's hard to deny the huge bonus to damage.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Berserker is a hero you can build your army around, however.  At high enough levels, you should be looking for units with that have a large primary attack power when compared to its net worth. For example, salamander has 3000 attack power and each unit is worth 188. So it has a 15.95 Ap/Hp ratio. These are some commonly used units that receive the most benefit out of Primary AP boosts. &lt;br /&gt;

February 2011 experience with using a high level Berserker.  Many of the units listed above, and other very high dmg primary units, have terrible hit points:net power ratios.  A high level Berserker can make them even more vulnerable.  This is especially important to remember if those units have a low initiative and your enemy can strike first and inflict serious damage.  But instead of going to all these extremes, I personally had some good results in taking units with traditionally mediocre attacks and bolstering them.  Ultimately the Berserker was stack wiped because he was leading a hard-hitting group with low resists that paired up against a very fast attacking stack.&lt;br /&gt;

On the face of things, the Berserker has a lot going for him, but he's not always right for every color.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

The Berserker has a standard Melee attack and doesn't cost too much. The question of his value comes in with his Berserk ability at lvl 14.  At its first lvl you will see your PRIMARY and counter abilities go up by 15%, but your health reduced by 6%.  As is often the case with TR heroes, this might help its native color, red, the least.  Red has very powerful secondary attacks in Chimeras and in Red Dragons (not so potent, but they will almost certainly be present and represent a lot of net power).  The only eradication units that see good benefits out of the Berserk ability are salamanders and to a lesser extent hydras. &lt;br /&gt;
*This may not be the case on Beta server, where we have seen so many of the things that boost Primary and Counter only on other servers receive the inclusion of Secondary attacks on Beta. A simple test in one battle with a berserker running will serve to answer this question.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Add in to this the fact that Red will often be running Battle Chant, which is going to reduce the health of its units by 10% already (for a bonus of 30% to AP/counter).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
At high levels, the health reduction increases.  A 17th lvl Berserker will offer +11% primary/counter from Valor and +30% primary/counter from Berserk, for a total of +41%!  The downside is you'll also be at negative 15% health.  If you were running Battle Chant, that would be an incredible +71% Primary and -25% health.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
It's a tricky situation.  If enemy damaging items/spells get in, -25% health can really hurt.  Especially for simple/fodder units.  But it's hard to deny the huge bonus to damage.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Berserker is a hero you can build your army around, however.  At high enough levels, you should be looking for units with that have a large primary attack power when compared to its net worth. For example, salamander has 3000 attack power and each unit is worth 188. So it has a 15.95 Ap/Hp ratio. These are some commonly used units that receive the most benefit out of Primary AP boosts. &lt;br /&gt;

February 2011 experience with using a high level Berserker.  Many of the units listed above, and other very high dmg primary units, have terrible hit points:net power ratios.  A high level Berserker can make them even more vulnerable.  This is especially important to remember if those units have a low initiative and your enemy can strike first and inflict serious damage.  But instead of going to all these extremes, I personally had some good results in taking units with traditionally mediocre attacks and bolstering them.  Ultimately the Berserker was stack wiped because he was leading a hard-hitting group with low resists that paired up against a very fast attacking stack.&lt;br /&gt;

The fact that he is a Sprite isn't very good, since Sprites/Sirens have a very bad habit of being stackwiped because of their low hp, which can result in your Bard being destroyed.  I recommend that if you get a Bard to avoid using those units or stack them in sufficient numbers they won't all be killed.&lt;br /&gt;
