Flame shield will trigger against any attack that isn't ranged, magic or psychic, not just melee and holy. It might also only trigger vs primary attacks, but I don't quite remember.

Air elementals appear as whirlwinds of cloud and dust, measuring ten feet in diameter at the bottom and thirty feet in diameter at the top. It gives off a high-pitched shriek when it is whirling. The extremely rapid movement of the whirlwind can sweep everything away in its path.

Awesome in power and strength, the Dread Knight is a force to be feared on the battlefield. Clad in armor the color of the darkest night, and wielding a wicked looking blade, the Dread Knight leads the march of the forces of evil, cutting down everything in his path, as they crush all opposition. On the battlefield, Dead Knights radiate aura of unholiness which protects entire army from holy attacks. Few legendary Dread Knights are so evil that they appear almost invincible and godly, striking terror into hearts of their enemies.

Dread Knight is a demon, Nether unit with a cold attack and a very high cost. Not only does he have one of the highest geld costs of any hero, but he also costs mana and population (though not much of either). Still, he is a very popular hero in TR because of his [[Terror]] ability.

As a demon, he can give [[efficiency]] bonus to any demon stack he leads, which includes Horned Demons and Demon knights, which are available to non-nethers.

First off, he has [[Valor]] which is always nice, but again, he is bought for his Terror, which reduces the enemy's [[Accuracy]] in combat. Terror reduces enemy accuracy by 1%/level.

In any case, the reduction in Accuracy is very powerful, especially when combined with creatures who already have Accuracy affecting abilities such as Swift, Fear, Beauty.

Unholy Aura is gained at 14 and provides a small amount of holy resist to your units.

It actually works together with Magic resistance,

33% above ++: max 75 resistance activates 2 times consecutive which is very rare (god's lvl 777 minds bar + high lvl minds bar)

20% : mid 33-55 resistance activates around 1 out of 5 of the time

10% : 0 resistance activates 1 out of 10 times

Reflects offensive enchantment with no upkeep

Reflects battle spells,
battle spells is calculate based on attacker's On or Off color/SL (such as black casting giant strength)

It works very well with phastasm and casting Heaven protection is cheap ,
Just use magic favour + lvl5 Spell mastery = offset casting difference

Based on calculation : casting Near color Ancient is 120% instead of 125%
So magic favour 10% + lvl 5 Spell Mastery near color 10% = offset
