Slurpz: volunteerly is not a word

{{Navigation}} "You have been executed." - a sad message that means your mage has been defeated. The remnants of your kingdom become part of the cemetery, where your dead body will fade away over the rest of the server round. It is game over and you'll have to reincarnate a new mage again. Your grave stone on the cemetery will tell you how and why you died.

The death of a mage can have many causes.

1. Voluntary departure from Terra (suicide), as found under options in main screen. If you edit your description just before, you can control your last words.

2. Deleted for inactivity - mages that have not been logged into for longer than 2 weeks are automatically deleted.

3. Killed in Battle - You lost a siege attack that took your final fort.

4. Killed because of no geld - You had no geld (and probably no pop) for several turns and couldn't upkeep your final fort.

5. Killed under enchantment - Some enchantments make you lose geld, population, troops and buildings (and through that other resources). If these enchantments destroy your last fort, you die.

6. Killed by spells/items - Some spells and items make you lose geld, population, troops and buildings instantaneously. If these destroy your last fort, you die.

7. Armageddon - Even when you survive the full 24 hours of it's duration, you'll still die. If you are ranking in the Top 10 at the very last moment, your cemetery will be the Hall of Fame, which will never be cleared.

Note that the game protects you from being killed too easily in various ways, except during Armageddon when it becomes very likely that you are killed in battle.

Ninarx started playing Archmage in 1998 with [[The Last Alliance]]. In AM he mainly played Apprentice and only as a nether mage. Ninarx played for three resets before going inactive. He has also played with [[Rifters of Matter]] and [[Partisan Elite]]. Venturing onto Guild Server he usually played alone but has also been in [[The Imperium]].

In 2004, Ninarx rediscovered Archmage had been reincarnated in The Reincarnation and began playing again. He rejoined [[Rifters of Matter]] for his first set, however this time he broadened his horizons and played on all servers as well as joined the UBB. In server he played along side [[The Pen is Mighty!]] with such mages as Arathorn, Doosh Baggins and Pad of Heck.

After taking a break for five months for personal reasons Ninarx once again returned to The Reincarnation. This time he started playing on Blitz with [[More Pressure]], Apprentice with [[Pesky]] and in Server with [[Nighthawks]]. As well as joining the Beta server and playing with [[Profoundly Orthodox Odd Folk]].

Ninarx wanted to help out with The Reincarnation and offered his services. Ninarx is now a global moderator on the UBB and widely regarded as the best mod to have ever graced this game. As well as this he is the English Translator for The Reincarnation and a damn sexy sonofabish.

This blade supposed to give your unit electricity attack.

I did not see any lightning attack added to my units. It appeared to give '''+50% resistance to lightning attack''' to all units in addition to '''+50% boost to primary attack power''' for units with any sort of lightning attack ability (AE and djinni got it). Fun item for blue mages! (Source: Trojan)

This item works suprisingly well for white mages as well, i have it on solo, and i'm actually top stacking Djinni with it lol. Astral Magicians also get even more vicious with this thing. White and blue can both easily abuse this unique, just throwing that out there lol (Source: Mezameta)

Very nice! I was wondering why we haven't had any spam at all from checking recent changes...and then I checked my messages.

The Illusionist doesn't have all that much going for it at low levels. They have low health, relatively low attack and don't have many abilities. Their [[Mind Shield]] protects against only a small number of psychic units, who besides Mind Rippers and Unholy Reavers, simply aren't that powerful or common. Their [[Mind Blast]] power does relatively little damage and can be resisted. They do have the benefit of being rather cheap, however. If they are leading a group of Mind Rippers they will also give it an [[efficiency]] bonus.

But people buy Illusionists for the dream of their best ability, [[Illusion]]. It's a dream, because unless you get your hero from an artifact or God's Most Favored, it will be at the most 17th lvl, and Illusion is an 18th lvl ability. From what I can tell, Illusion is totally random in that it picks any of your stacks and duplicates it 200,000 net power per level of Illusion (so 200k at lvl 18). If you are deep stacked, this could be less beneficial, as an extra 200,000 Squirrels isn't nearly as benneficial as an extra 166 Efreeti.

At higher levels, the Illusionist becomes extremely powerful indeed and could be a truly powerful weapon. At lvl 20, it will create an extra 15 Dominions or 12 Titans, for instance! Since enemies generally attack lower than themselves when trying to grab land, you've essentially added an instant 600,000 net power of pure troops. This can be especially deadly at lower ranks and for catfishers (people who purposefully stay low in net power to try and kill targets who are injured) where such a boost in net power could be a large percentage increase.

When it duplicates a unit, it is added to your army as an additional set of troops and not combined with what it copies. That also means the enemy can easily waste an attack or more trying to destroy it, when it has no impact on the outcome of the fight. For example:

A Crypt Keeper is one of the few humans the undead will allow to approach them, for he has a special place in the legions of the undead. It is the work of the Crypt Keeper, which prevents the ghouls and liches from merely rotting away, and keep the vampires well fed. They posses limited necromancy abilities as well, and are capable of re-animating fallen undeads. Some Crypt Keepers posses wide knowledge about nature of death, and can employ it to drain magic power from realm of death.

Capsule Monster (Item)

It looks like an ovoid shape egg but it is made up of some kind of tree sap like material. There is a number inscribed on one side and the word "capsule" on the other side. When the capsule is thrown or dropped, a horde of monsters will emerge from within. They will obey your order but they will dispatch into nothingness after some time. It is rumoured that these capsules are made by the alchemists of the Old World. Nowadays, no one knows how to make these capsules because the capsule itself does not radiate any magic at all. One last point.even if you got 100 million NP that does not mean you can attack top 10.As likly you got a 85% failure rate.Due to the fact they got stronger unit.they have the spell aready.your spell likely to be bloke by barrier.The only way is to wait for them to attack you or when you are sure they have remove their barrier.The first to attack usually suffer 2-3 times more death than the defender.Use ASH of I.IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ITEM IN AMM.The first to hit kill the most.

Spells are the bread and butter of The Reincarnation. They are used for a variety of purposes: summoning units, casting offensive and defensive enchantments both in battle and out of battle, allocation of resources, and more. The spells in the spell book are seen as one a basic [[resources|resource]] for each mage, because the amount of spells that you have, determines your basic spell level. Once acquired, you'll never lose the spell and never lower basic spell level, as long as you keep your mage alive.

Each color can learn their own [[:Category:Simple Spells|Simple]], [[:Category:Average Spells|Average]], [[:Category:Complex Spells|Complex]], [[:Category:Ultimate Spells|Ultimate]] and [[:Category:Ancient Spells|Ancient]] spells. They can learn their own adjacent color's [[:Category:Simple Spells|Simple]], [[:Category:Average Spells|Average]], and [[:Category:Complex Spells|Complex]] spells, and finally can learn their opposite color's Simple and Average spells. Phantasm is the exception: they can learn every color's Simple, Average, and Complex spells, so their [[spell level]] is the highest of all the colors. [[:Category:Ancient Spells|Ancient]] spell scrolls are hard to learn for adjacent and opposite colors - but spell level helps.

Every color's Simple, Average, Complex spells are available on the [[Black Market]] under [[Exotic Mageware]]. This is one of two places [[:Category:Ancient Spells|Ancient]] spells can be learned; the other method is from using specific Unique [[items]] that have a fixed percentage chance of allowing your mage to learn an [[:Category:Ancient Spells|Ancient]] spell. Bidding on the spells on the [[Black Market]] is a guaranteed way to learn the spell if you have the highest bid, while the [[Unique Items]] carry a risk of destroying your entire [[mana]] reserve.

Casting adjacent and off-color spells is more [[mana]] costly than on-color, especially for off-color complex spells. Casting the spell of off-color spells further carries a risk of failure, depending on the complexity of the spell. If the casting fails, turns and mana and are consumed without benefit. Opposite color casting carries a greater risk of failure than adjacent color casting. The risk of failure increases with the complexity of the spell. It decreases with [[Spell Level]]. = How to get Favour =
You do that by donating, a nice amount of your geld on the Altar of Darkness, found in the [[Black Market]].

You need to donate minimum amount to stand a chance.
* Minimum is 10% of your total geld. Total geld includes what geld you have temporarily on black market, in the form of bids.

on top of that,
* minimum for Beta server (1 turn/5 min) is 20,000,000,
* minimum for Guild/Solo Server (1 turn/7 min) 15,000,000,
* minimum for Arch Server (1 turn/15 min) is 10,000,000.

if the above is satisfied,
* then you have a 50% chance to get that favour (i.e. bidding 20,000,000 2-3 times usually gives you favour, sometimes you get it the first time...).

It is harder to get favour right after recovering from disfavour.

Each god has a standard favor effect that lasts for 48 hours:

* Magic gives.............. +20 SL and decreases casting cost by 10%

On top of that, you also gain one of the following (random)
* 45% chance on an enchantment for 15 turns

The wiki concept is such that in principle anyone can edit any information (although we have restricted editing of some key pages).
