		+	Ascendant with Artificer can get lots of IG without too much problem using locate artifact. The problem is they aren't amazingly good. I think they rank around Preachers in terms of overall efficiency. They have worse resists, though very high melee/ranged can ofset that, but also have better spell resists. But they lack healing. Though they do significantly more damage than preachers, but their cost:per net power is also a lot higher. I have used them to help protect some of my anti-pillage ground units and do a LITTLE damage to the enemy's back stacks. I'm not saying this is perfect but you might look at something like:
