boku_mo, which in Japanese means "me too," was born Enteng Batumbakal on July 14th 1965 in the little known province of the Babuyan Islands in the northern Philippines to a middle-class fishing family. In 1975, a group of Mormon missionaries arrived and after a unsuccessful bid to convert heathen Catholics, they left after 3 weeks. Unbeknown to them, they carried an extra passenger- Enteng stowed away on their little craft.

Upon arriving in the Mormon colony in Manila, Enteng was taken into the Mormon fold and given the name Ryan Underdown which he still uses today. His perchance for voluntarily sponge bathing the oldest of the missionaries led to a study of medicine, and later becoming a nurse. He now works in Jordan in the profession of his choice. His dyed hair and goatee are considered trend-setting amongst his peers.
