Comments

Clarification Needed

  • A more detailed list is needed of items that don't work. See discussion page.
  • On satchels it reduces your own accuracy penalty only. So at level 5 satchels would give you a 9% accuracy penalty, while at level 20 it would give you no penalty. The enemy accuracy penalty is always 10% at all levels.
  • On beta, the LA bonus to percentage healing items Strange Metallic Can and Pouch of Herbs is reduced. (Start of 2010)

History

  • It has improved Locate Artifact results in the past (late 2007), but that was discontinued
  • This Icon ASCENDANT.gif skill replaced the Barrier Proficiency as the Icon ASCENDANT.gif skill in December-January 2006-2007.
  • Barrier Proficiency at that time became a Icon PLAIN.gif skill, and its workings were also changed.
  • The replacement probably had something to do with the spell-level effect on barriers being removed between original skill design (late 2004) and reintroduction of skills (halfway 2006).
  • It used to have odd effects with some items, like causing Satchel of Mist to increase your accuracy penalty instead of decrease it. forum post
