Spell Level indicates a mage's skill level in handling magic. Spell Level is acquired by learning new spells and is usually the primary factor in determining the strength of a mage's spells.

Notes

  • It is advisable to research all available spells early after the creation of a mage in order to utilize high Spell Level.
  • Favour or Disfavour from Magic can affect Spell Level.
  • All or part of some Spells' effects are constant regardless of the caster's Spell Level.
  • If the Spell Level of an Enchantment Spell's owner changes while the enchantment is still in effect, the strength of the enchantment remains unchanged.
