Spell Level determines your ability to cast spells.
 
Ways to Raise Spell Level:
- Research Spells
- Buy Spells
- Otherwise Attain Spells (Ancient Spells exist, 1 for each color)
- Magic (Goddess) Favor/Most Favor
- *NEW* Skill "Grand Enchanter" (Boosts SL of enchantments when cast)

 
Spell Level Effects:
- Spell Failure/Success Rates
- Summoning Rates
- Spell/Enchantment Potency (most spells are affected by SL, but not all)
- Net Power (1000 NP per SL)
