Server Administration

This task means:

  • communicate with the host providers where the servers are physically located
  • properly secure the server
  • set up accounts for the other TR-team members
  • make sure the backup systems keep working
  • update the various programs that run on the server ('Apache', 'MySQL', 'PhPBB3', log software)
  • maintain the domain registrations
  • set up new features (wiki, blog, supporting guild forums etc. etc.)
