Large Shield

Large Shield increases the resistances to ANY Ranged-type attack by 50% after the resistances of the Ranged-type attack are averaged (i.e. [Ranged R + Magic R]/2 + 50%= Final R). It greatly reduces the damage from units with Ranged-type attack. In combination with Missile Shield (MS), it can further decrease damage from Ranged-type attack (ex. Knight Templar with MS can gain immunity or near immunity to certain Magic or Psychic Ranged). The ability largely contribute to the effectiveness of Ascendant barrack units, particularly against units with Ranged-type attack [1].
