This is a contract of stealing issued by the thieves' guild master. It allows the possessor to pick an unfortunate mage and ask the thieves to steal from him. The thieves then steal from that mage and the geld that they do steal becomes the property of the possessor.

Effects
Steals gold, an item, or a unique from the target.
For stealing a unique:
- If on Arch or Archwar, chance is the number of uniques owned by target squared with a cap at 99% chance (10+ uniques owned by target).
- On all other servers, the % chance is the number of uniques owned by the target.
General mechanics:
Roll a number between 1 and 100.
- If number is less than unique steal chance, pick one random unique from the player. 50% chance to have the unique transfered to other player, otherwise the unique item is lost.
- If number is less than 30, and above unique chance, steal lesser item, more likely to steal an item with a higher quantity.
- All other rolls steal geld.
Notes
It cannot steal the item Magical Compass
You begin using the item Letters of the Thieves' Guild on Ascendant (#xxx).
Ascendant (#xxx)'s lesser item Magical Compass cannot be stolen.
You finished using the item Letters of the Thieves' Guild on Ascendant (#xxx).
The item Letters of the Thieves' Guild is destroyed after use.
