This spell will summon terrible Mind Rippers from the upper astral plane. These dreadful and terrifying monsters posses superior psychic abilities and relish feasting on the brains of their still-alive enemies.

Sounds tasty. Hence, their name, "mindrippers."

But seriously, they are quite powerful summoned creatures to have in your army. Be warned that they require large quantities of mana to support them. More than once, I've lost all my mindrippers because my country ran out of sufficient mana. Mindrippers should not be summoned into small countries, unless you have a large enough mana cushion to support them. I suggest summoning these creatures into your army when you are done researching and want to go on the offensive.
