Ash of Invisibility - Sets all your units base initiative to 6.
Blood Stained Map - Has a chance to find the Unique item "The Holy Grail" - About "The Holy Grail": There is a lot of speculation about these uniques, you can find the information by searching the forums.
Book of Golem Summoning - Summons a small number of the unit "Iron Golem" to your army.
Book of Prophecy - Steals several thousand population from target, and gives them to you.
Bottle of Eversmoking - Essentially Negates the "Clumsiness" attribute on Orcs (not the exact function - but close enough for this used-not-so-often item)
Brooch of Protection - Raises the Melee resistances of all your units.
Bubble Wine - Increases the Life and Attack of all your units (good basic midpriced item)
Candle of Sleeping - -10% Resistances & -10% efficiency to all enemy units.
Capsule Monster - Summons 1000 of the "Capsule Monster" unit to your army during battle, these units disappear after battle and don't count towards battle losses.
Carpet of Flying - Gives all your units FLYING.
Coffin - Randomly summons a small number of Ghouls, Liches, Wraiths, Vampires, or Zombies.
Cosmetics - Gives Human and Elf units what essentially equates to the "Beauty" ability.
Crystal Ball - Weaker version of the blue spell "Scrying Mirror" (reveals information about target mage's country if it passes barriers).
Dozens of Silver-Tipped Arrows - <Due to lack of studies, I don't have exact information on this item beyond it only effecting MISSLE units> - Supposedly adds HOLY attribute to them .
Drums of War - -10% Attack to all enemy units.
Figurine of Ice Queen - Deals Cold damage to all enemies.
Flasks of Holy Water - Kills Undead.
Horn of Valhalla - Summons "Knight" units to your army, a few thousand.
Javelin of Lightning Bolt - Deals Lightning Damage to all enemies.
Letters of Thieves Guilds - Random effect (steals items or gold from target mage - rumored to have a small chance of being able to steal uniques).
Magical Compass - Gives you a significant number of acres of wilderness - approx 150-200.
Mana Crystal - gives you 20,000-60,000 mana (approx).
Mana Vortex - Destroys several thousand points of mana.
Missle Shield - Raises your units Ranged Resistance (+50%).
Monkey Brains - +100% Primary AP for any unit with a Psychic Attack.
Official List of Demands - Random Effect (Destroy Geld, Population, or Turns).
Oil Flasks - Greatly reduces Fire Resistance (despite what anyone says - this does NOT add weakness to fire).
Ointment of Healing - adds healing, may also raise poison resistance (unconfirmed).
Peaches - Summons a few thousand "Gorillas" to your army.
Pipes of the Sewer - Destroys 500,000 gold and 15,000 population.
Potion of Valor - Increases Attack of all your units.
Pouch of Herbs - Boosts the healing abilities of units.
Powder Keg - Deals Fire damage to all enemies and reduces their attack by 5%.
Ring of Animal Command - Boosts your own Animals GREATLY, weakens enemy animals greatly (if both players use Rings - they neutralize each other).
Rotten Food - Kills target's population (varies in amount)
Sage Stone - gives you 1-2million gold (varies in amount).
Satchel of Mist - -10% accuracy for ALL units (both yours and the enemy's).
Scroll of Protection from Fire - Raises the fire resistance of your units.
Staff of Illusion - Deals Psychic Damage to all enemies.
Strange Metallic Can - Strongest of the Healing items (15%).
The Head of Medusa - Kills a small fixed number of enemy units (best used vs ultimate units).
Spider's Web - -1 initiative for all enemy units
Total Newbie Handbook - Summons 5000 Squirrels or Frogs to join your army.
Treasure Chest - Can give you Nothing, 300,000 gold, 3 lesser items, or a unique.
Treasure Map - Can give you Nothing, 500,000 gold, 5 lesser items, or a unique..
Vial of Venom - Adds the Poison Attacktype to your melee units.
Voodoo Doll - Destroys target's turns.
