Spell Level indicates a mage's skill level in handling magic. Spell Level is acquired by learning new spells and is usually the primary factor in determining the strength of a mage's spells.

Spell Level Information

Notes

  • It is advisable to research all available spells early after the creation of a mage in order to utilize high Spell Level.
  • Favour or Disfavour from Magic can affect Spell Level.
  • All or part of some Spells' effects are constant regardless of the caster's Spell Level.
  • If the Spell Level of an Enchantment Spell's owner changes while the enchantment is still in effect, the strength of the enchantment remains unchanged.





 
Standard Researchable Spell Levels (Ultimate servers) Starting november 2006, a mage on Apprentice Server get +100 spell level (compensation for not having ultimates)
589 for blue
421 for white
428 for green
470 for black
456 for red
 

Max Possible Spell Level on all servers: 684

Simple Spells: +1 SL each
Average Spells: +3 SL each
Complex Spells: +7 SL each
Ultimate Spells: +20 SL each
