Sages are those mages who dedicated their lives into researching the magical arts. They spend most of their time studying in the magic guild's library.

Summary
At the start of a set, Sages command a very high price as everyone is attempting to research as fast as possible. After the first few weeks though, low level sages tend to command a low price due to lack of demand(and also appear fairly rarely in the first place). High level sages have an extremely high demand as they are one of two ways to reduce spell casting costs, and Spell Mastery is a blue skill(penalty for other colors learning it).
