Effects
- Grants all friendly units +40% to their Melee Resistance
- On the Arch Server, the increase in Melee Resistance is +50%
Legendary Artificer Effect
- The Brooch of Protection receives a 100% bonus from the Legendary Artificer Skill
- E.g. With level 20 Legendary Artificer, the Brooch of Protection will provide 40% x (100 + 100%) = 80% melee resistance to all friendly units

Attacker (###1) used Brooch of Protection. Defender (###2) cast Rust Armor.
Defender (###2)'s Griffons attacked Attacker (###1)'s Air Elementals. Griffons's attack failed.
I.E. Air Elemental base 95% melee resist + Brooch 40% melee resist - Rust Armor 30% melee resist = 105% melee resist
