Your net power determines your ranking.
Net power is calculated based on
A: your Kingdom (land and a lot of extra stuff, listed below)
B: army power (number * power rank summed for each stack),
- 1,000 per acre of land (built or Wilderness)
- 1/20 (0.05) per mana in pool
- 1/50 (0.02) per current population
- 1/2000 (.0005) per geld
- 1,000 per spell level
- Nothing for god's favour, except Magic Favour through spell level bonus.
- 1,000 per lesser item (includes Minor Indulgence and Magical Compass)
- 100,000 per unique (tested to be 100K per unique item),
- except Holy Grail gives 0 (or 1000 like a lesser item?)
- 10,000 per ally
- 10,000 per level for battle and non-battle hero
