==Notes==

* Any unit having an initiative above 6 (from multiple modifiers) is treated as having initiative 6 when the battle starts.

* The Phantasm spell [[Beta:Paralyze|Paralyze]], when cast on-color, will cancel out the effect of Ash of Invisibility, as ash adds 6 initiative and on-color Paralyze will subtract 6 initiative.

* In the case that both the Attacker and Defender use Ash of Invisibility (and no other initiative modifiers are used), both sides will have maximum initiative for ALL units. It causes the battle to start with attacks by the top stacks first, with the first hitter in the pairing selected at random. The scenario then repeats for the second stacks in line and so on.

Effects

    • On-color Icon PHANTASM.gifParalyze's initiative reduction effect will cancel out the initiative bonus effect of Ash of Invisibility for the affected unit. This is because Ash temporarily increases initiative by 6 however the on-color Paralyze spell subtracts 6 initiative, leaving the affected stack at its original initiative level.
    • In the rare case of both the Attacker and the Defender using Ash of Invisibility (and no other initiative-modifying spells/items are used), both sides start the battle with initiatives of 6. This causes the battle to start with attacks from the top stacks while the first hitter is selected at random. This scenario is repeated for all other stacks, from top to bottom in order
