Rank: Ultimate
Type: Enchantment/Self
Cost: 25 turns, 1,000,000 MP
Upkeep: 666 pop

Effects

  • A global epidemic that will spread through attacks, kills units and population every turn. 1% unit
  • Notes... Black Death is NOCANCEL, which "...means that you can't cancel [di]spell [without mana]. To get rid of it you have to use mana. Undispellable spells have NODISPEL flag (for example CoS)" [[1]].
  • See link here for tips [[2]]

Population loss occurs by it lowering pop income to zero and then it having an upkeep of 666. As such, whites and greens are barely affected by this spell (a loss of 666 people for ~ 20 turns is only ~13000, the bulk of which will return after 1 turn of no black death). Strangely, the ones hit hardest by this spell are blacks and reds (Red Dragons), since they will lose 666 a turn AND whatever their units eat (since income = 0 they pay the full loss of their units every turn). Really, this writer has no idea why this spell exists, since it has minimal effects on the colors black hates most, and can send a black into a spiral SO quickly. Black death = death to blacks, lol. black really a different ultimate, like say an ultimate unit that doesn't suck. Yes, UR's suck. Do the power math vs every other unit. They lose to every ultimate but Lev's, and then it comes down to who hits first.
