The reclusive shapechanging werebear inhabits the deep forests of Terra. Able to shift their shape between that of a human or brown bear, they are powerful warriors usually at the disposal of Verdancy practitioners. Werebear have supernatural strength and are capable of fighting in either form, using spears and clubs while in human form, and claw, tooth and a crushing bear hug while in the other.
When not employed for their destructive talents, werebears live a more peaceful life in the woods, subsisting on a diet of fish, small mammals, fruits, nuts, berries, and occasionaly large game.
