I am a green mage, at only 600 land, 150 guilds, Spell Level so far 197, no Concentration on or what ever. I bought a level 13 hero Sage (i.e. Researching (9) is at 13-(9-1)=fifth level).
- Just after bidding, to research an ultimate spell ( Call Phoenix) from 0%-100% is indicated to take 715 turns
- Zero turns later, but after hero arival, with me sage, it is indicated to take only 565 turns to research it.
- looks like at level 5, for each guild, I get 1 turn less researching time
- would it be so simple that for each ability level (9)-(10)-(11)-(12)-(13), a sage cuts 0.2 turn on-color research time per guild?

Guilds reduce the amount of research points needed to attain a spell. Does researching reduce the amount of research points needed, or does it increase your research rate?
