An Iron Golem stands 15 feet tall and is made of pure iron. He resembles a huge human and weighs around five thousand pounds. He is mindless and fearless and will only obey the commands of his master. He can not be hurt by normal or fire attacks. In combat, he will use either his fists or a weapon if one is available. He has the strength of the strongest giants and causes damage to structures easily. He can used as a siege weapon in order to batter down a gate or city wall.

Side Note
!! Iron Golem (Unit) is difficult to get in large enough quantities to be effective. However, they are great for mono-stack defense because of their 99% resistance versus melee and ranged attacks. They are vulnerable to Hell Hound, Chimera, Red Dragon, and heroes that attack with pure cold damage. After doing the math for a Red Dragon attacking while defending mono-stack and using the assignment Lovesick and Satchel of Mist, each Red Dragon kills 2-3 units; not bad. More calculations need to be done. But the Net Power per unit is lower than Djinni when comparing stacks. They are twice the MP upkeep than Djinni. More calculations need to be made to see if 1 Iron Golem (Unit) is as effective or more effective than 2 Djinni in comparison to NP, upkeep and vulnerabilities.
Ascendant with Artificer can get lots of IG without too much problem using locate artifact. The problem is they aren't amazingly good. I think they rank around Preachers in terms of overall efficiency. They have worse resists, though very high melee/ranged can ofset that, but also have better spell resists. But they lack healing. Though they do significantly more damage than preachers, but their cost:per net power is also a lot higher. I have used them to help protect some of my anti-pillage ground units and do a LITTLE damage to the enemy's back stacks. I'm not saying this is perfect but you might look at something like:
