Bards are unique in their magic: they weave complex enchantments through music. Normally residing in inns and taverns - where they make a tidy profit - it is rare to find a Bard on the battlefield. But these are strange times, indeed. Bards that join forces with a mage use their music to inspire allies, confuse enemies, and increase the morale of the troops being trained.

• Is a phantasm spell, can be resisted

Charisma (Lv.14):

• Increases recruit rate by 4% + 2%/lvl

Preferred Units

• Increases the efficiency of sprite/siren ONLY
• Will always command sprite/siren stacks before commanding other stacks from the sprite race (i.e. Dryad)

"The fact that his race is sprite isn't very good, since blue units from the sprite family (sprite/siren) have a very bad habit of getting stackwiped because of their low hp, which can result in your bard's death. I recommend that if you get a bard, try avoiding using those units or stack them in sufficient numbers that they won't all be killed." - Unknown

"It's a pity the bard only increases efficiency of sprite/siren since it's song ability is better than valor. Had it been a elemental race hero for example, it would have been a top tier hero in any blue's arsenal. Still, the bard has a good ability in song, doesnt cost much to upkeep, and has a decent attack type. Decent hero if you get it for cheap and expect it to die eventually." - SpiritSlasher
