This is the most powerful Nether magic. Once this dark containment is performed, your population will almost stop growing. However, by sacrificing new infants to Satan, you gain a lot of magic power in return, and those sacrified citizens will turn into skeletons and zombies that will join your forces. Also, your troops will be partially protected from holy attacks by an aura of unholiness.
